About us

Founded in 1977 by 18 founding members north of Charleroi, the Rotary Club Fleurus-Aéropole now brings together 33 members committed to a shared belief: service to others, locally and beyond. A member of District 2150, the club has been acting for nearly 50 years in favor of individuals, associations, and institutions in the Fleurus-Gosselies region, as well as on a national and international scale. Over the years, its Rotarians have carried out concrete projects around solidarity, disability, childhood, and health. In 2017, the club took the name Fleurus-Aéropole to affirm its roots in this rapidly developing territory. A story of service, carried for nearly half a century by women and men who believe that ideals still have a place in our time.
