Conference: Growing Up in Secret | Régina Sluszny
Château Mondron
A story of survival. A memory to pass on.
A meeting not to be missed.
On October 22 at 7 PM, the Library of Fleurus welcomes Régina Sluszny, a hidden child during World War II and a committed witness to the memory of the Holocaust.
Through her personal story, Régina will take us into a narrative marked by fear, courage, resilience, and, above all, the will to transmit. Her testimony powerfully reminds us why memory remains essential today.
The conference will be followed by the screening of the documentary Growing in Secret – My Revenge on Hitler, created around Régina Sluszny by students from specialized and vocational education. A deeply human intergenerational project, where the voice of a witness meets the perspective of today's youth.
Come listen, understand, exchange, and keep this memory alive with us.
