Your steps can change a life
The Sun Run is a charity race organized by the Rotary Club Fleurus-Aéropole. The principle is simple: each participant chooses their distance - 5 or 10 km, running or walking - at their own pace, alone or in a team.

All proceeds are donated in full to three local associations: Stroke and Go, which supports stroke survivors and their families, Les Frangines, which supports women affected by domestic violence, and the Banque Alimentaire de Charleroi, which fights food insecurity in our region.

FAQ

The Sun Run is a charity sports event organized under the auspices of the Rotary Club Fleurus-Aéropole. All net profits are donated to three organizations: Stroke and Go, Les Frangines, and the Charleroi Food Bank.

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Nelson Mandela Park (Château de Monceau), in Monceau-sur-Sambre (Charleroi).

Once at the starting line, you choose: a 5km course, or two loops for 10km. Walking, which is not timed, is also offered for those who prefer to go at their own pace.

Come enjoy the day: between the starts, the meal, and the friendly moment around the prize distribution, there is plenty to celebrate together, with family or colleagues, while supporting a great cause.

Time Program

100% of the net proceeds are distributed between Stroke and Go, Les Frangines, and the Charleroi Food Bank.
Registration costs €20 until August 31, then €25 after that date. It includes: personalized bib, access to the course of your choice (5km, 10km, or 15km), and refreshments at the finish.

The complete details, including the walking option, can be found on our registration page: go.rallyup.com/coursedusoleil/Event/Details.

The fee may seem higher than for a standard race: this is primarily a fundraising event for three local causes (Stroke and Go, Les Frangines, and the Charleroi Food Bank), and each registration directly contributes to their support.
A change to a higher package is possible: contact us at info@coursedusoleil.be with your name and your current package, and we will let you know how to proceed for the price difference.

As this is a charity race, registrations are, however, non-refundable. Your participation remains a valuable donation, no matter what: whether you run or not on the day, your contribution supports people who have survived a stroke, victims of domestic violence, and families in our region who need food assistance. Every registration counts for these three causes.
